Applications are invited for engagement of One Research Associate (RA) in All India Coordinated Research Project on Plasticulture Engineering & Technology at !CAR-Central Instit ute of Post-Harvest
Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointments will be made purely on temporary contractual and co-terminus with the project, following the prescribed procedure upto 30th September, 2017/or till extension of 12th Plan. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof.

a)Essential:
Ph.D. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Agricultural Structures and Environment Management/Agricultural Structure and Process Engineering or Master degree in any of the above subjects with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA/CGPA with at least 2 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ other engagements. b)Desirable:Published research papers, Research experience/exposure in protected cultivation, modeling of structures, expertise in AUTO CAD/ Pro E and statistical analysis software packages. |

Rs. 40,000/- + HRA (Rs. 38,000 +HRA for master degree holders) per month consolidated |

Terms and Conditions:

There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR after completion of time bound project.

Place of work will be at AICRP on PET, Ludhiana.

No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview

The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post graduation/ Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview.

No objection certificate from the employer in case he/ she is employed elsewhere.

Experience certificate in original (if any)

No separate interview call will be issued to candidates.

All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.
