SIXTH NCA NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited online only from qualified candidates belonging to reservation group of Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State for appointment in the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service. Before applying for the post candidates should register as per the One Time Registration through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission.

The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Caste community and against the vacancies that remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to this community during the currency of the ranked list, published on 27.11.2004 for the post. This is the sixth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community as per First NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 12.03.2008 as Category No. 126/08 and Second NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 31.03.2010 as Category No. 74/2010, Third NCA notification published in the Gazette dated 16.07.2012 as Category No. 379/12, fourth NCA notification published in the Gazetted dated 15.11.2013 as Category No. 429/13 and fifth NCA notification published in the gazette dated 31.12.2014 as Category No.724/14.

5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (from Scheduled Caste candidates only.)

Note : 1. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered for appointment in the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates.

2. Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to SC&ST will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually.

6. Age Limit: 25-41 Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (inclusive of relaxation in Para 2 (1) of the General Conditions).

7. Qualifications: -First Class or Second class Master's Degree in History of Arts with not less than 55% marks obtained from a recognised university.

Note : Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.

8. Mode of Submitting applications:

(a)

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the Official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote User-Id for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The applications will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, age etc have to be produced as and when called for.

(b)

If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days

from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the Examination.

(c) Candidates who have AADHAAR Card should add AADHAAR Card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
