Walk - in Interview will be conducted for following assignment in a time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences of the Institute on 19th July, 2017 and Time 10:00 A.M. for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project

Job Description

:

Research work related to project. Candidate may register for Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela

7.

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship

:

Rs. 25000/- per month 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28000/- per month in 3rd year. 20% HRA as applicable

8.

Essential Qualifications and experience

:

First division throughout career in M.Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. or M.Tech. (Atmospheric Science /Meteorology /Oceanography / Remote Sensing / Physics / Mathematics / or Equivalent). M.Sc. or M.Sc.

Tech. candidates should be NET or GATE qualified.

9.

Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences

:

Working experience in (i) Atmospheric mesoscale models, (ii) in Unix or Linux environment (ii) software like matlab/GraDS/NCL/ etc.
