for the posts of 'Research Fellow' for the Research Project

"Mapping the Vulnerability of Women in India to Climate Change at the Sub-National

Scale"

Funded by UNDP-GEF-MoEFCC

As part of India's Third National Communication to the UNFCCC

Applications are invited by the undersigned from eligible women candidates (Indian nationals only) for post of Research Fellow on a temporary basis in the above mentioned research project as per the following specifications:

Rs.25,000/- plus 30% HRA

Tenure of the Post

Upto October, 2018 or co-terminus with the project, which

ever is earlier.

Qualification

Masters in Development Communication and Extension/ Agricultural Extension/ Extension Education/ Environmental Studies/ Economics with a good academic record (at least 60% marks in Post-Graduation)

Good computational skills and knowledge of statistics Selected candidate can register for Ph.D.

Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Research Experience in related fields

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The position is purely temporary.

  2. The selected candidate may join the Ph.D. programme.

  3. The selected candidate has to fully devote the work time for the project work and is not allowed to join any other course or take up any other job (part/ full time).

  4. Maximum age limit is 32 years.

  5. No TA/ DA will be paid for either attending the interview or for joining the position.

  6. The shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date, time and venue through e-mail. The candidates have to appear before the selection committee with all relevant documents certificates in original and if selected, should join the project immediately.
