WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR SELECTION TO THE POST OF SCIENTIST -B (BIOTECHNOLOGY) (TEMPORARY) For a Project entitled "CARE in Heart Failure-Overall management of the project" (P-5375)

1.Qualification & Experience (Essential) 2. Maximumage limit as On 31-05-2019 : 1) PhDdegree in Biotechnology/Geneticsfrom a recognized university 2)Five years experience in projects involving genetic screening in human subjects : 45 Years
3. Numberof vacancies : 1 (ONE)
4. Consolidatedremuneration : Rs.48000/-+ 4200 HRA per month
5. Tenure ofAppointment : Six months or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
6. Briefjob description : Scientistwill bein chargefor themanagementof NOS HCM project but
also for the supervising Biobank project. He/She will be doing the
genetic sequencingand its analysisrelated to the project. In addition to
the NGS HCM project, he/she will have to supervise the activities
related to the biobank. He/She has to streamline the process of bio
banks sample collection, preparation of samples,storage,maintenance
and retrieval. The scientist has to train and supervise the two lab
technicians under the bio bank project. Ensuring the quality control of'
the bio bank andthe geneticstudies in one of the responsibilities of this
staff.
