Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Mechanical Sciences of this Institute.

  1. Name of the Temporary : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Assignment 1 Position
  2. Name of the temporary : Dynamic Analysis and Design of Dynamically Balanced Gait research Project Controller for Lower Limb Exoskeleton.
  3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Department of Science and Technology (DST)
  4. Consolidated Fellowship : SRF: Rs. 35,000/per month + HRA@16% JRF: Rs. 31,000/per month + HRA @16%
  5. Qualification & Experiences : See AnnexureI
  6. Duration of the project : Three Years
  7. Period of Engagement : One Year (Extendable depending on the performance in the project)

Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Position : 01

Educational qualification: SRF: B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 65% or 7.00 CGPA and M. Tech in Mechanical System Design/Machine Design/ Robotics/ Mechatronics/ CAD/ CAM with 70% or 7.50 CGPA with two years of experience.

JRF: B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 65% or 7.00 CGPA and M. Tech in Mechanical System Design/Machine Design/ Robotics/ Mechatronics/ CAD/ CAM with 70% or 7.50 CGPA .

Computer proficiency requirement: SolidWorks, Ansys, C/MATLAB programming and MS Office.

Age limit: Less than 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation can be considered in case of candidates with exceptional academic record.

Job description:
  1. Capable of working with solid modeling and analysis softwares like Ansys, Solidworks etc.
  2. Capable of working with microcontrollers, actuators, sensors and mechatronic systems
  3. Perform literature review and capable of developing new innovative designs
  4. Handling machines/equipment for the fabrication work
  5. Perform variety of roles in Laboratories
  6. Capable of preparing reports and writing research articles
