Title of the Project: Investigation on Langmuir-Blodgett films of pristine and functionalized single walled carbon nanotubes and application

Specific area of the research: Studies on physicochemical properties of ultrathin films of pristine and functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes and exploring the possible applications of such highly organized films. The project is very challenging requiring a good knowledge of solid state physics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, optics, instrumentation and computer interfacing skills.

Duration of the Project: 3 years, till March 2022

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility: MSc in Physics with with atleast 60% marks.

Fellowship: Rs 31000+10 % HRA per month (for NET/GATE qualified candidate)**. For non-NET/GATE candidates, the fellowship will be as per DST & BITS-Pilani rules & regulations.
