Please note: The advertisement No. GAP 324826_2 for the Project Assistant-II position stands cancelled and is being re-advertised.

Sub: Filling up of position(s) for engagement as Project Assistant II under sponsored projects taken up in the Lab.

Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up of position(s) of Project Assistant II on a purely temporary basis, in the prescribed proforma. The details of the Sponsored Project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Title of the Project:	Designing and synthesis of Flexible Organic Solar Cell Materials of Porphyrinoid Molecules
Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications	M.Sc. Organic Chemistry/M. Pharm. from recognized University with a minimum of 55 % marks (aggregate).
Desirable experience, if any	Good academic record and one year of research experience
Age limit*	30 years (PA-II)
Job requirement	Capable to carrying of synthesis of small organic molecules and their characterization using various spectroscopic techniques. Particularly, knowledge about NMR, HPLC, SC-XRD, PXRD, DSC and TGA.
Duration of the post	Six months
Consolidated emoluments per month	25,000/- pm
No. of positions to be filled up	One

* Age limit is relaxable by five years for statutory groups and Women candidates.

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/ satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The eligible applicants should fill the application in the prescribed Proforma (enclosed) duly completed and signed. The said application along with photo-copies of relevant

certificates/testimonials & photograph should be submitted at the time of interview only.

Walk-in-Interview will be held in Organic Chemistry Division (Conference Room No. 210, Main building, First floor left wing from the entrance) on 28-02-2019 at11.00 a.m. The interested candidates should be present at the above venue before 10. 30 a.m. on 28-02-2019. Candidates coming after 10.30 a.m. will not be allowed to face the interview.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.
