Saksham Prerak, in collaboration with the National AIDS Control Prog amme (NACP) will build capacities of 9000 HIV counselors+30000 Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife across India. Tata Institute of Social Sciences will establish 10 Regional Training Units to conduct these training programmes.
Terms of Reference for the position of Project Co-ordinator , Regional Training Unit, Lucknow & Jaipur Saksham Prerak.
Responsible for achieving all the programme targets Co-ordinate with SACS,NHM&CMOofrespective states &NACO &TISS. Responsible for verifyingand submittingtrainingand finance reports to TISSfor
counsellor andANMtraining.
Co-ordination with CapacityBuildingSpecialisttoensure planningand implementation ofANM/ Counsellor training Managingthelogisticsofcounsellor&ANM trainingandensuringarrangementof
logisticsofANM/ Counsellortraining.
Arrangingfor photocopyingofalltrainingmaterialandevaluation forms for counsellor &ANMtrainingand ensuringarrangementoflogistics ofANMtraining Arrangingforthevenue,accommodationandfoodforco sellor&otherlogistic&ANM
tr ainings. Coordination with SACSfor trainee lists and trainingdates ,NHM&CMO Collectingandverifyingthe travelexpenditureand submittingit to the TISSfor training. Collecting,verifyingandsubmittingthefood/hotelb llstoTISSforcounsellortraining
and ensuringarrangement oflogistics ofANMtraining
AnchorthetrainingprogrammesforCounsellors &ensurethelinkbetweenthetraining
sessions andwith the field experiences duringcounsellingtraining LeadateamofCapacityBuildingSpecialist&ensuret quality. Preparethenarrativereportofthecounsellortrainin programmes Anyother taskassignedbySenior ProgrammeManager/ProjectDirector.
Qualifications:
Minimum Desired Qualification: Master in Public Health Master in Health
Administration/ Master of Social Work (Health &Mental Health or Public Health)/ M.A.
(Counsellingor ClinicalPsychology)&disciplinesallied to health
Experience:
About 5 years of working experience, previous experience of ertaking training programmes for NHM/NACOstaffwillbe given preferenc .
Essential skills and other requirements:
Ability to strategise and implement the programme to get the expe ted outcome. Excellent organizationaland administration skills. Proficiencyin usingcomputers.KnowledgeofMSOffice-Word,Excel,PPT. Willingnesstotravelextensivelywithinstatesassign d. High levelofcommitmentand integrityandabilityto work independently.
