ADVERTISEMENT FOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE/ POST DOCTORAL POSITION

Applications are invited for one temporary position of Research Associate to work under the project titled Short and Medium Range Flood Forecasting System for Godavari River Basin using Ensemble Weather Forecast sponsored by Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. The project is sanctioned as part of Monsoon Mission 2 Program of the Ministry of Earth Sciences.

The details of the post, qualifications required, and the emoluments are as follows.

1. 1. Name of the Post: Research Associate/ Post-Doctoral Position
   
   
2. 2. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Engineering with B.E./ B.Tech in Civil/ Agricultural Engineering and M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering. The candidates should have obtained first class in both B.Tech and M.Tech.
   
   
3. 3. Emoluments: Rs. 40,000 per month
   
   
4. 4. Duration: Three years
