Applications are invited for two temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the project titled Short and Medium Range Flood Forecasting System for Godavari River Basin using Ensemble Weather Forecast sponsored by Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. The project is sanctioned as part of Monsoon Mission 2 Program of the Ministry of Earth Sciences.

1. 1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
   
   
2. 2. Qualifications: B.Tech and M.Tech/ ME/ MS in Civil Engineering (with specialisation in Water Resources Engineering or Remote Sensing and GIS) or equivalent degree with first class at all levels. Candidates should have got admitted to M.Tech/ ME through GATE or the candidates should have a valid GATE score.
   
   
3. 3. Emoluments: Rs. 25000 per month (may be enhanced to 28000 pm in third year based on performance)
   
   
4. 4. Duration: Three years

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Candidates who are already employed should produce Relieving Certificate from their employers, if selected.
