Applications are invited on prescribed format for the temporary post of "Junior Research Fellow (JRF)'' for the Project (Project No.: SR/18/CS/058) entitled Development of City Traffic Dashboard using Social Media Data and Historical GPS Trajectory sanctioned by SERB (DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India). Selected candidate may enroll in Ph.D. Programme in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela based on Institute norms and regulations.

5	Tenure of the Assignment	Extendable annually till completion of project, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of fund release by sponsoring agencies.
6	Job Description	JRF is required to work in developing a cognition-aware recommender system for learners in Flipped class room mode teaching.
7.	Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship	RS. 25,000/- per month.
8.	Essential Qualifications and experience	M.Tech/ M.E (after B.Tech/ B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)/ IT with 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA at both B.E./ B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech levels OR B.Tech/B.E in CSE with valid GATE score and CGPA above 8.0/10 or marks above 65%.
9.	Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences	a. M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) /IT b. Knowledge in Machine Learning and Data Mining. c. Python programming.
10	Accommodation	Bachelors Accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
