Senior Project Consultant (01) and Project Consultants (05)

Applications are invited for one (01) position of Senior Project Consultant and five (05) positions of Project Consultants on Project mode engagement under NIRD& PR and UNICEF collaborative project titled Capacity Building Programmes on Sustaining Rural Sanitation Momentum for Functionaries of Gram Panchayats of all states of India for a period of 12 months. The details of the eligibility, job description and other requirements are as follows:

Senior Project Consultant (01)

Consolidated remuneration per month

Rs. 80,000/-.

Essential Qualifications

Post Graduate degree preferably in any Social Science in Rural Development/Management Environmental Engineering/Civil Engineering/Water and Sanitation with strong academic background

Experience and other requirements

7 years development experience with any national or state agencies or government out of which at least 2 years in WASH sector.
Minimum two years of experience in managing large scale development / corporate projects preferably WASH projects
Proven experience in designing and facilitation of participatory trainings and preparation of training modules
Experience of creating sustainable Open Defecation Free GPs
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Hindi and one regional language
Proficiency in English
Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability and willingness to travel across states at least for 10 days in a month

Desirable Qualifications

Good networking and partnership building skills
Experience of creating sustainable Open Defecation Free GPs
Experience in managing teams
Good documentation skills

Maximum age

Not more than 65 years

Roles and Responsibilities of Consultants.

Be responsible for project planning, organizing team meetings, organizing project level meetings, Donor and MDWS reports, day-today activities, etc. under the guidance of Dr.Sivaram, Head and Professor of CRI, NIRDPR.
Be responsible for planning and conducting various capacity building events for master trainers in terms of undertaking training needs assessments, preparation of training modules and resource material, facilitation and evaluation of trainings, preparation of training reports, etc. in the assigned states
To coordinate, monitor and reporting various project activities of assigned states on a monthly basis or as required by the project
To serve as helpline from NIRDPR for any assistance with regard to scheduling, coordination, provision of IEC materials on ODF-S etc. and any other technical inputs as required by states.
Monitor capacity building interventions undertaken by states and trained Master Trainers in all assigned states including collection of event reports
Participate in experience sharing or issues based workshops and meetings organized by NIRDPR and states.
Maintain process documentation of various project events undertaken
Prepare monthly, six monthly and annual narrative program and financial reports or any other report as required by the project.
Any other task as assigned by the project.
