Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate on a research project funded by the BIRAC. The project is to be completed at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The details of the project and the aforementioned position are as follows:

Project Title: MindEye: A low-cost, portable, easy-to-use, eye-tracking device integrated with computerized cognitive tests for early diagnosis of Dementia at community level using big-data analytics in cloud under a highly affordable Software-As-A-Service model

Name of the Post: Research Associate

Consolidated Monthly Pay: As per the rules & regulations

Qualification and Experience:

Essential Qualification: PhD or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching, design and development experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCl) journal.

Desirable Experience: Knowledge in Signal Processing, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Software Environment such as Python, Matlab and Microcontroller Programming. Experience in working with Ubuntu and OpenCV is preferable. Research experience in Biomedical-related instrumentation and projects, such as in physiology-based screening techniques is required.

Terms: Six months but extendable based on satisfactory performance
