Advertisement for the Post of a Project Associate (JRF) in DBT funded project

Applications are invited for one Project Associate (JRF) for the DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY (DBT), Govt. of India. funded research project. The details are as follows:

Title of the research project: "The role of ectopic liver derived systemic factors in regulating beta-cell function"

Funding Agency: DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY (DBT), Govt. of India.

Duration : 36 Months

Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- p.m.

Minimum Qualification: possessing M. Sc. or equivalent degree with 60% marks in Life Sciences or related areas with National Elligibility Test (NET (JRF or LS)/GATE/Equivalent) qualification.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years.

Age relaxation: upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates

JRF may get PhD admission in fulfilling admission criteria of IIT Mandi.
