Applications are invited from qualified candidates for a post of aProject Postdoctoral fellowto work in an UGC funded project on Mixed explosives biodegradation for remediation of contaminated ground water with the undersigned Principal Investigator.

Duration: initially for 1 year beginning immediately -extendable on satisfactory performance till project completion date 30-4-2021. The post is purely temporary and contractual basic

Essential Qualification: PhD in Chemistry/ any branch of biological sciences especially microbiology/ biochemistry/ biophysics.

1. The applicant is expected to have a Ph.D. degree.
2. Candidates who are expecting their degree after submission of their thesis can also apply (In this case their thesis must have been submitted before 31/12/2018).
3. Sc and M.Sc with a minimum 60%.
4. Should be proficient in spoken & written English.

Salary Range: 50,000/55,000/60,000

No. of post: TWO

Desirable: Experience with molecular cloning and protein characterization. A good working knowledge of handling equipments such as FPLC, Spectrophotometer, GC-MS, SDS-PAGE etc. will be an added advantage.
