REC Power Distribution Company Ltd. (RECPDCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Power. Navratna is the recognition for Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and only a few selected CPSEs in the country enjoy this elite status. RECPDCL is rendering expert consultancy services in power sector in general and Distribution sector in particular across the country.

The spectrum of consultancy services include inter-alia, Project Management Consultancy (PMC) works, IT implementation in Power Sector, Smart Metering, Smart Grid, Solar Projects, Third Party Quality Inspection, Monitoring of Rural Electrification works, Feeder Renovation Programme, Energy Audit, HVDS study, Load flow study of power system networks, preparationofDetailed Project Report (DPRs)for power project schemes including various Govt. of India Schemes viz.,RGGVY, R-APDRP, DDG, NEF etc. to the Central/State power utilities across the country, consultancy assignments to Govt., Central/State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

(II) General Information:
1. Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates shall be as per Govt. of India guidelines. Relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates will be given. Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer)/ PWD candidates will be as per presidential directives. Upper Age limit for persons with disabilities (PwD) shall be as per Govt. Guidelines.

2. Prescribed Educational Qualification & no. of years of experience are the minimum qualifying criteria. Mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates for interview. RECPDCL also reserves the right to reject any candidature without assigning any reason whatsoever.
3. The appointment is purely on Fixed Tenure Basis and does not carry any liability on RECPDCL for regular appointment at any stage. In no case the contract period will be extended beyond 4 years 8months.
4. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
5. The number of vacancy can vary and will solely dependent on project requirement.
6. No perks or allowances, other than the consolidated salary mentioned above, would be payable.
7. Management reserves right to cancel/restrict/modify/ alter selection/recruitment process at any stage without issuing any notice or assigning any reason thereafter.
8. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
9. No fee is to be paid by the candidate for appearing in walk-in interview.

10. The candidate shall be selected on the basis of performance in walk-in interview only.
11. The offer of engagement shall be issued to the selected candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies.
12. No correspondence will be entertained for the not selected candidates.
