Title of the Project: Mobile App for assisting Indian farmers in improving yield by automatic identification of plant diseases (Rice and Tomato).
About the Project: The project will build model using machine learning/deep learning and image processing techniques resulting in a mobile app that improves of the state of the art in identifying diseases in plants.
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification: B.E./B-Tech, M.E./M-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Systems (with minimum 60% marks)
Desired skill set: Programming using Python, TensorFlow/Caffe/PyTorch framework, working knowledge of ANN and CNN, Android SDK, Java, SQL
Fellowship: Rs. 25000-25000-28000
Duration of the project: 3 Years
After the preliminary review of the applications, the shortlisted candidates will be notified for personal interview through an e-mail. Application along with documents should reach the undersigned on or before 07-03-2019. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate can pursue his Doctoral study at BITS Pilani after clearing the institutional admission procedures.
