Applications are invited from the departmental candidates working under the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for filling up l ( one ) post of Finance and Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer, Group-A [Gazetted] in the Finance and Accounts Service in the scale of pay of P.B.(3) Rs.15600- 39100/- +Grade Pay Rs.5400/- plus other allowances through Limited Department Competitive Examination. The lone post is unreserved for open competition. The vacancy position is subject to variation.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

   The candidates must have completed at least minimum of 2 years of regular service in the Grade of Assistant Audit Officer/Sub-Treasury Officer, Superintendent of Accounts, Sub -Treasury officer, Administrative Officer, Section Officer of Secretariat/Superintendent of Heads of Departments.

2. METHOD OF SELECTION:

   Selection will be made through written competitive examination consisting of 4 ( four ) papers carrying 100 marks in each paper i.e. 400 marks. The subjects and the standard of the examination will be as below :

   The candidates se c u rin g a minimum of 33% or more marks in each paper in the written exam in a tio n and 45% or more marks in aggregate in th e writt en exa m ina tion sha ll o nl y be eligib le for selection.

   On being qualified as p er the above standards, the final se l ect ion to the p o st will be made on merit sub ject to the sc ru tin y o f ACRs (for past 2 years) and

   vigila nc e clearance R ep o rt from the Vigi la nc e Department of the Govt. of Arunachal Pra d e sh .

3. AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORM

   Ap p lic a tion fo rm s can be o b tain ed from the Com mission ' s o ff ic e on all working days from 10 A.M to 4 P.M up to 08.12. 2014 till 4 P.M. on cash payment of Rs . 70/- only in case of APST candidates and Rs. 130/- only for General candidates. No separate exa m ina tion fee in th e fo rm of Demand Dra ft/Tre asu1y Challa n w ill be required further along with the a p plic a tio n fo rm . Th e fee is included with th e c o st of the application form for c onve nienc e of the applicant.

4. HOW TO APPLY:

   Alongwith the a p plic a tion fo rm Candidates must enclose 2(two) c op ies of rec ent c olour passport size photographs with se lf -a ttesta tion in the front side and a tte sted copy of APST Certificate (in case of APST C a ndid a te s).

   NB: The Application form should be procured in the name of the candidate only.

5. Last Date of re ce_iving application by the Commission is upto 08.12.2014 till 4 P.M.

   
   

OTHER RULES:

1. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or othe rwise of a candidate for admission to examination will be final and no c orresp ond enc e/p ersonal enquiries will be entertained.
2. (ii ) Application in prescribed form along with nec essa ry d ocumen ts should be sub mitted in the re c epti on counter in a cover/ e nvel ope sup ersc rib ed ' App lic ation for the post o f Finance and Accounts Officer /Treasury Officer' and Qbtain receipt from the c ounter to ensure his/her submission of application form.

3. The app lic ation should be submitted through proper channel.

4. Application rec eived after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be rejected.

5. The Commission will not be resp onsib le for delay in rec eipt of app lication due to any reason whatsoever.

6. APPLICATION FORM OTHER THAN THE ONE PROCURED FROM THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERV ICE COMMISSION, ITANAGAR WILL BE SUMM ARI LY REJECTED. NO DUPLICATE OR TYPED-OUT FORM WILL BEENTERT AINED.

7. Application form not fu lfilling the term s a nd conditions as stipulated in th e adve rtisement will be rejec ted.

8. CANDIDATES ARE URGED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FILL UP THE FORMS CAREFULLY AS THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER RECTIFICATION PERIOD AFTER CLOSING DATE.
