Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the under mentioned posts.

Item No.01: 01(One)(UR-01) permanent post of Principal, College of Agriculture,Group-AGazetted under the Department of the Agriculture in the scale of pay Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 2000/- as allowance for principal ship plus other allowances as admissible to the State Government employees.

Educational & other Qualifications:

Essential: (i) Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Agri Engineering/Horticulture/VeterinaryScience followed by a Master's Degree in the concerned discipline.

(ii)Master's Degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences having at least55% marks in traditional system or OGPA to 2.75 in 4 point scale or 7.0 in 10 point scale in the concerned subject with consistent good academic record.

(iii)Doctoral Degree in relevant subject including relevant basic science.

(iv)15(fifteen) years experiences in research/teaching /extension education outof which3(three) years should be in the rank of Professor in the Agricultural College/Universities/National Agricultural Research System or in an equivalent position.

(v) Outstanding contribution in terms of published papers in reputed professional/ National/ InternationalJournals/Books or other contributions and recognition.

Desirable:(i) Experience of guiding post Graduate students/Ph D Research work.

  1. The candidate should be an eminent personality n the field of Higher Education.

  2. Administrative experience ina responsible position inan AgriculturalUniversity/College/Research Centre.

    Educational Qualifications:

    Essential: (i) Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.

    1. Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) in the relevant subject.

    2. Doctoral Degree in relevant subject.

    3. At least 10 years experience in research/teaching/extension education in the Agricultural University with at least 5 (five) years experience as Associate Professor.

    4. Evidence of contribution to research/teaching/extension education as supported by published work/ innovations.

Desirable: Experience of teaching and guiding post Graduate Students.

Note: (a) A relaxation of 5% marks from 55% to 50% of marks at Master's Degree level for SC/ST and differently abled category candidates.

(b) A relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks to the Ph.d Degree holders, who have passed their Master's Degree prior to 19th September,1991.

Item No.03: 8 (eight) posts of Associate Professor for the College of Veterinary Sciences & AH, Group-A Gazetted under the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of Tripura in the Scale of pay Rs. Entry pay will be Rs. 23,890/- (pay band Rs. 15,600-39,100/-) with AGP Rs. 8,000/- and after completion of 3(three) years of services in the scale the Associate Professor(s) are eligible for the pay band Rs. 37,400-67,400/- With AGP Rs. 9,000/- .

Educational Qualifications:

Essential: (i) Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.

  1. Master's Degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences having at least 55% marks in traditional system or OGPA to 2.75 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale in the concerned subject with consistent good academic record.

  2. Doctoral Degree in relevant subject with specialization in relevant field and 5(five) years experience (Excluding the period spent for Ph.d studies) of teaching in the relevant subject as Assistant Professor having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations.

Desirable: Experience of teaching and guiding post Graduate Students.

Educational Qualifications:

Essential: (I) Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.

  1. Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) in the relevant subject.

  2. Being qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ICAR/UGC/CSIR.

  3. For Veterinary discipline, candidates must be registered with the State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India.

Desirable: Experience of teaching U.G/P.G Student.

Item No.05: 01(one) (UR) permanent post of Assistant Director (Rubber Production), Group-B Gazetted under the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura in the scale of pay Rs.10,230-34,800/-, PB-3, with Grade Pay of Rs.4,800/-.

Essential Qualification & Experience: (i) At least Degree in Rubber Technology/Polymer Science & Technology from a UGC recognized University/AICTE approved Institutions with 3(three) years post qualification experience in the manufacturing, quality control & testing of Rubber/Polymer/related field from Govt. office/undertakings or office of repute.

OR

(ii) Diploma in Rubber Technology/Polymer Science & Technology from a UGC recognized University/AICTE approved Institutions with 5(five) years post qualification experience in the manufacturing, quality control & testing of Rubber/Polymer/related field from Govt. office/undertakings or office of repute.

Age for Item No.01 & 2: Upto 50 (fifty) years as on 15.12.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PH and Government servants. Provided that Govt. employees belonging to the ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.

Age for Item No.03: Upto 45 (forty five) years as on 15.12.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PH and Government servants. Provided that Govt. employees belonging to the ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.

Age for Item No.04 & 05: Upto 40 years as on 15.12.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PH and Government servants. Provided that Govt. employees belonging to the ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.

The last date of receiving application is 15.12.2016. The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.

The applications along with necessary documents (regarding Qualification from Madhyamik onwards/ Experience/ Permanent Residence Certificate/Citizenship and Age proof Certificates) should be addressed to the Secretary, TPSC, Agartala, West Tripura and submitted in the Tripura Public Service Commission Secretariat during working hours.

N.B.: for Item No. 02 to 04 candidates must write name of post & Academic discipline/deptt.

N.B.: Experience Certificates, where necessary, shall have to be issued by the competent authority of the Deptt./Institutions/faculty etc. as the case may be.

Other Important information:-

  1. The number of post to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requisition of the Department.

  2. Prescribed Form availability:- The 4(four) pages Application Form printed in colour font will be available from all Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.

    In addition, the said prescribed Form printed in colour font (A4 size 90 GSM paper) can also be down loaded from the Websitehttp://www.tpsc.gov.in and in that case, the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission. The Bank deposit Receipt is to be affixed with the filled up application form in the specified Box on the 2nd page of the form.

  3. Rate of Recruitment Fees: -

    1. Group-A Posts: - Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

    2. Group-B Posts:- Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and

      Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

    3. Group-C Posts:- Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.50/-

      (Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

  4. SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.

  5. Applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the post on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.

  6. Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date (15-12-2016). Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.

    The candidates, who will send application by post, are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidate after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidate. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.

  7. Decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final.

  8. Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.

  9. Date, time and venue of Screening Test/ Personality Test will be notified in due course.
