Advertisement for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-funded research project [NRDMS/02/64/017] at the Department of Geology, University of Lucknow

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-funded research project with following details:

Educational Qualification

Candidate should have First Class M.Sc./M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology. GATE/NET-LS will be preferred.

Desirable qualification and nature

Geological mapping and have experience to field work

Monthly Fellowship

Rs. 25 ,000/- per month + HRA admissible as per rule (GATE/NET-LS qualified)

Rs. 16000/- per month+ HRA admissible as per rule (non GATE/NET qualified)

Duration

2 year or termination of project

Age Limit:

28 years

2. Candidates will be informed by email about the interview date. So candidate must provide valid email id in their application.
3. Applicant will be responsible for authenticity of information, other documents and photograph submitted.
4. The Selected candidates will be required to stay and carry out the field work, time to time during the tenure of project.
5. In case of large number of applicants, the applications would be screened. Mere possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that candidate would be called for interview.
6. The original certificate and documents will be verified at time of interview.
