RECRUITMENT OF MANAGER (IT) BATCH 2016 ON REGULAR BASIS

Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited Indore, is the successor company of M.P. State Electricity Board that has been incorporated to undertake activities of distribution and retail supply of electricity in the Indore & Ujjain commissionaires of state of M.P.

Note: - The above vacancies may vary as per requirement.

Out of the 03 posts, 01 Nos. posts (Orthopaedically disabled) is reserved for PWD category candidates. This PWD post is included in open vacancy (without category) and as per the category of selected candidates, the category wise vacancy will be filled up.

Reservation

  1. The reservation of posts meant for SC, ST & OBC shall be applicable only for the candidates of Madhya Pradesh Domicile only. Such candidates shall be required to submit a proof of Domicile in M.P. State.

  2. For availing the benefit of reservation, the candidates shall be required to produce Caste Certificate issued by SDO (Revenue) of concerning jurisdiction.

  3. For application of reservation, the state level roaster shall be followed.

  4. The reservation of post meant for Handicapped Candidates shall be applicable only for the candidates having Madhya Pradesh domicile only.

HOW TO APPLY (Please read the instructions carefully):

  1. Applications shall be received through M.P. online (www.mponline.gov.in) only. Links to the website of MP Online has also been provided on the following website: www.mpwz.co.in.

  2. Documents to be submitted along with online application :-

    1. High School Examination mark sheet for Date of birth proof.

    2. Final semester Mark sheet & relevant degree of B.E/ B.Tech in (IT/CS) from a recognized university.

    3. Caste certificate, (in case of reserved category candidates) issued by Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of MP in prescribed format.

    4. In case of Physically Handicapped persons (PWD), valid Certificate of disability issued by the Medical Board.

    5. MP Domicile certificate.

    6. Certificates/documents of certificate in JAVA (OCJP).

    7. Marksheet/Certificate of PG Diploma/Degree (Minimum 1 year course) having specialization in Software Engineering if claimed weightage for the same.

    8. Relevant Experience certificate if claimed weightage for the same.

Application Fee & Other Charges

  1. Application fees for OBC candidates of MP domicile will be Rs.1000/- and for SC/ST/Handicapped candidates of M.P domicile Rs.800/- per application.

  2. Portal Charges for objection calling will be Rs.600/- per question plus applicable portal charges.

  3. After Payment, one time edit facility will be available to the candidates for which the portal charge will be Rs.60/-.

  4. The applications can also be submitted through MP Online Kiosks and the payment can be made through the Kiosk.

  5. No extra charge shall be payable for scanning of photograph etc. to Kiosk apart from the fees.

Essential and desirable qualification criteria

Essential Qualification

The candidate should have a regular full time BE/B.Tech. or any equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering from a state or central Government recognized Institute / University or from an AICTE recognized Institute, with:-

  1. Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in case of OBC and Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in case of SC/ST/Handicapped category candidates having M.P. domicile.

  2. In addition to above the candidates should also possess certificate in JAVA (OCJP). The Certificate obtained prior to date of publication of advertisement will only be considered.

Desirable Qualification

  1. The candidates having PG Diploma/Degree (Minimum 1 year course) with specialization in Software Engineering will be given 10 % weightage.

  2. Also 10 % weightage will be given to candidates having relevant experience of 5 years (2% per year) in development of web and mobile application and design of data base for online transactions of any Government (PSU), Govt. undertaking utility having more than 20 lakhs of consumers.

Age Limit

The age of candidates as on 01.01.2017 should be

  1. Minimum age limit: 21 years

  2. Maximum age limit: 40 years for MP domicile candidates.

  3. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/Handicapped categories and women candidates having M.P. domicile, Ex Serviceman shall get relaxation in upper age limit to an extent of five (5) years.

  4. The candidates who have experience of working on regular or contract basis in MPPKVVCL, Indore shall be given age relaxation in Upper age limit equal to number of completed years of experience, subject to maximum 5 years.

  5. However, maximum age limit including all relaxation will be 45 years.

Selection Process

  1. Online application will be invited through MP Online. The Eligible candidates shortlisted on the basis of the details filled in online application form satisfying the aforementioned criteria may have to undergo an online technical test comprising of questions in relevant subject as indicated in the syllabus.

  2. The online test will be conducted by MP Online. The online technical test shall be conducted in Indore only. The question paper will be in English. The question paper shall contain 100 questions of 4 mark each and the duration of the online test shall be two hours. There will be negative marking for incorrect answer. 4 marks will be given for 1 correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Total marks will be calculated by formula 4R-W where R denotes number of right answer and W denotes number of wrong answers.

  3. Candidates can apply for objection calling after the exam on payment of fees of Rs 600 + applicable charges per question and if their objection is found correct, fees charges for objection calling will be returned.

  4. The final merit list will be prepared based on 80% weight of written test marks & 10% weightage of PG Diploma/Degree in Software Engineering and 10 % weightage of relevant experience of 5 years (2% per year) in development of web and mobile application and design of data base for online transactions of any Government (PSU), Govt undertaking utility having more than 20 lakh of consumers.

  5. Based on the online test performance and weightage of PG Diploma/degree and relevant experience, a merit list will be declared If the marks secured by two or more candidates are same, selection will be based on date of birth in descending order i.e. older candidate will be placed first in the merit list. 3 times candidate of total number of posts will be called for document verification on the basis of merit list.

  1. The selected candidates are required to bring the following documents at the time of reporting :

    1. Original and one set of certified copies of

      1. BE/B.Tech in (IT/CS) course mark sheet for every year / semester of education.

      2. BE/B.Tech (IT/CS) Degree certificate (provisional, if final degree not received).

      3. Certificates/documents of certificate in JAVA (OCJP).

      4. 10th Board exam mark sheet as proof of date of birth.

      5. 12th Board exam mark sheet.

    2. Mark sheet/certificate of PG Diploma/Degree (Minimum 1 year course) having specialization in Software Engineering.

    3. Relevant Experience certificate if any.

    4. NOC from present employer, if any.

    5. Caste certificate & MP Domicile certificate for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. The candidates belonging to OBC category will have to produce latest family income certificate / non creamy layer certificate.

    6. Photo ID proof.

    7. MP Domicile Certificate issued by competent authority and Medical Certificate of disability issued by Medical Board in case of PWD candidate.

Selection and Appointment

01. Based on the combined marks obtained in online technical test and weightage of additional qualification and experience, a merit list will be declared and candidates shall be selected for appointment to the post of Manager (IT)-Trainee from the merit list as per advertisement or as per Company's requirement.

Compensation

  1. Training : - The candidates selected shall have to undergo 6 months training. They shall be required to execute a bond to complete the training and serve the Company for 3 years afte r completion of training. If the performance of a candidate during training is not found satisfactory, his/her appointment shall be liable for cancellation. The Manager(IT)Trainee shall be paid a fixed monthly stipend @ Rs. 21000/- (B.P.Rs. 15600/-+G.P. Rs. 5400/-) per month during the training period.

  2. Salary after completion of training:- After successful completion of training, the candidates shall be given regular appointment as Manager(IT). On regular appointment as Manager(IT), he/she shall be absorbed in the pay scale having starting pay Rs. 15600/- p.m. plus grade pay Rs. 5400/- in pay band-3 (Pay scale 15600-39100) and other allowances as applicable from time to time. The appointed Manager(IT)shall be eligible for the Defined New Pension Scheme.

    General Instructions

    1. The candidate who does not possess specified qualification need not apply. During the scrutiny of the original certificates, if any discrepancies are found or the candidate is found non eligible as per the prescribed eligibility criteria, such candidate shall not be considered for this post and their candidature will be rejected.

    2. Candidates working in the Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector, satisfying the eligibility criteria of education and age shall have to produce N.O.C. from their present employer at the time of reporting failing, which they shall not be permitted to join.

    3. PWD Candidates should submit the attested copy of their being Physically Handicapped Certificate issued from the Medical Board. The percentage of disability should be indicated very clearly in the certificate. Degree of disability should be as per norms fixed by Govt. of MP for getting reservation under Handicapped category i.e. the minimum degree of disability in order for a Handicapped person to be eligible for the post advertised would be 40%. The candidate shall be considered for appointment only against category of disability for which post of Handicapped is reserved.

    4. Any dispute arising out of the selection process shall be dealt within the jurisdiction of Indore High Court. In case of the disputes referred to the MPPKVVCL Indore, the decision of the MD, MPPKVVCL Indore shall be final and binding on both the parties.

    5. The candidates must produce original documents/certificates at the time of reporting in support of their qualification and experience for verification.

    6. The candidate shall be required to work anywhere in the jurisdiction of companys area.

    7. The candidates who have a third child born on or after 26.01.2001 are not eligible to apply unless twins are born after first child.

    8. If any of the information given by the candidate is found incorrect, his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage of selection and appointment.

    9. Once a candidate joins the Company no request for intercompany transfer will be entertained.
