Keltron Component Complex Ltd., a premier Public Sector Undertaking, under Govt. of Kerala is in search of a suitable candidate for the post of Engineer (Materials / Procurement) on contract basis for 3 years as per details given below.

Name of Post: Engineer (Materials/ Procurement)

Qualification: B. Tech (Mech/ ECE/ EEE)

Experience: Candidates should have minimum 1 year experience in Materials Department of a manufacturing industry. Candidates should be conversant with Central Excise & Sales Tax Rules & procedures. They should have price negotiation skills and should be familiar with interstate material transport related requirements. They should have administrative efficiency to control and monitor departmental activities to achieve targets.

General Conditions:

1. Age will be calculated as on the 1st day of January, 2017.

2. The prescribed experience should be acquired on or before the last date stipulated for the receipt of the application. Qualifications should be from recognized institution.

3. The selection process will be based on academic qualifications & experience and will also include Written Test/ Skill Test, Group Discussion/ Group Activity and Interview as may be decided depending on the total number of eligible applicants.

4. The Written Test/ Skill Test, Group Discussion/ Group Activity and Interview will be conducted at Trivandrum/ Kannur.

5. Communal rotation, age relaxation and experience will be as per Kerala Public Service Commission norms and relevant Government Orders.

6. Original documents to prove Qualification, Experience, Age, Community etc. have to be produced as and when called for. SC/ST candidates have to produce caste certificate and OBC candidates have to produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, if required, at the time of certificate verification.

7. In case of false or insufficient information/ inadequacies of proof to ascertain the eligibility of the applicant, their candidature will summarily be rejected at any stage of the selection process.

8. Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shall not give them any right to be called for interview/ selection. 11. The appointment will be for a period of 3 years which may be extended.

12. Salary (consolidated pay) for the selected candidates will be fixed based on relevant experience/ skill set etc. Benefits like ESI, PF etc. is also applicable as per rules.

13. If the performance of the candidate is not found satisfactory, their contractual services will be terminated without any notice.

14. No TA/DA will be paid for attending selection process.

15. Management reserves the right not to fill up any or all the posts notified, at its discretion and vacancies may also be increased or decreased depending upon organizational requirements.

16. Management reserves the right to change the venue of test/ interview, to cancel this notification and/ or to limit the appointment to certain area.

17. The decision of the Managing Director will be final in all matters relating to this recruitment.
