Advertisement for Research Assistant/ Associate in ICSSR Funded Research Project

Applications are invited from the meritorious and interested students for the position of Research Assistant/ Associate at the Department of Education, Central University of Tamil Nadu in an ICSSR funded Major Research Project.

Title of the Project: Emotional Intelligence and Competencies of School Teachers with respect to Inclusive Education

Name and Number of the Post : Research Assistant/ Associate (1 No.)

Research Fellowship : Rs.13,000 /- 16,000/- consolidated.

Essential Qualifications: M.Ed. (Education/ Special Education) and Masters degree (Arts/Humanities/Science/Social Science) with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates qualified NET (Lectureship)/SET and having knowledge in ICT/special education/inclusive education will be preferred.

Project Duration: One year

(the appointment shall be purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing rules of the ICSSR and CUTN, Thiruvarur. The appointment shall be co-terminus with the duration of project. The appointment shall be initially for a period of one year, renewable after one year depending on the performance of Research assistant/ associate).

Age Limit: 30 years

The shortlisted candidates will be called (by E-mail) for interview on the following date and time.

Date and Time of Interview : 21st July 2017, 10.00 am

Venue: Department of Education, NLBS II- Ist Floor, Room No. 107, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu. The candidates should bring the following documents at the time of interview:

1. Filled in application in the format attached (Click here to download the Application Proforma) , covering letter, along with valid photographic identity card and 2 passport size photograph.

2. Original and attested photocopies of all documents, certificates, degrees and mark sheets (10th class onwards).

3. Copies of certificates/testimonials/documents which the candidate may wish to bring to the knowledge of the selection committee.

Note:

1. Candidates should appear for interview along with their original certificates and other relevant documents.

2. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

3. The decision of the selection committee is final.

4. The selected candidate should be willing to resume the work within a week after the selection.
