MEGA SEED SHEEP PROJECT-MECHERI SHEEP

A walk in interview will be held on 20.07.2017, 11.00 a.m at Mecheri Sheep Research Station, Pottaneri for the selection of one number of Research Associate (as Young Professional II).

Qualification : Graduate degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.)

Duties and responsibilities:

Work involves,

Health care of Mecheri sheep maintained under farm and field conditions.

Recording of production and reproduction performances under farm and field conditions.

Location : Mecheri Sheep Research Station, Pottaneri-636 453. However, major part of the work will be in the beneficiary fields located in Salem and Karur districts.

Pay and allowances : Rs.25,000/- consolidated (As prescribed in Young Professional II of ICAR guidelines)

Any other : Experience in animal husbandry activities is desirable.

Terms and Conditions: -

Duration of this post is up to 31.03.2018 and it will be extended based on the approval of the funding agency

Appointment is purely on temporary basis
