ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF Sr. CONSULTANT / CONSULTANT FOR DISCIPLINE OF PHYSICS, SOS

The School of Sciences invites application from candidates for the position of two full-time Senior Consultants/Consultants in Physics. The Senior Consultants / Consultants will be responsible for setting up and conducting Physics Laboratory courses for B. Sc. students. The candidates must have the following qualifications:

(A) Senior Consultant

Masters degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks and NET qualified/PhD as per UGC Guidelines and minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching Undergraduate/Postgraduate Laboratory Courses.

(B) Consultant

Masters degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks and NET qualified/PhD as per UGC Guidelines and minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in teaching Undergraduate/Postgraduate Laboratory Courses.

The maximum age limit for the above mentioned post is 69 years as on date of advertisement.

The appointment shall be initially for a period of six months and may be extended. The remuneration shall be Rs.50,000/ to Rs. 70,000/ per month for Senior Consultant and Rs. 40,000/ to Rs. 60,000/ per month for Consultant.

The post is purely contractual engagement. The selected candidate (s) will have no right whatsoever foe absorption/regularization in the University.
