1.Counselor(female)

Dutiesandresponsibilities:

Toprovidementallychallengedchildrenwithsupportiveandtherapeuticcounselingbasedonacounselingplan

Toaddressbehavioural,educationalandemotionalproblemsofthechildren

ToconductlifeskillsessionswiththechildrenunderthesupervisionoftheProjectmanager.

Toassesstheprogressmadebythechildren

Reportinganddocumentingthecounselingprocess

Anyotherasrequired

Qualifications:

1.ThecandidateshouldatleastpossessaMastersdegreeinpsychology/counselingpsychologywithadditionalqualificationincounseling.

2.Thecandidateshouldhaveatleast3year'sexperienceinworkingwithchildren.Priorexperienceofworkingwithmentallychallengedchildrenwillbeanaddedasset

Remuneration:Basedonexperience

Tenure:ThisisacontractualpositionwiththeprojecttillJanuary2017(maybeextendedonextensionofprojecttenure).

Requiredskills:ProficiencyinEnglish.Proficiencyincomputerskillsespeciallyexcelandaccountingisessential.Goodcommunicationskillswillbeanaddedasset.Location:TataInstituteofSocialSciences,Mumbai
