Filled in application & summary sheet in the prescribed format (available in the website: www.nitpy.ac.in ) along with the original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the relevant certificates along with any government issued Identity proof should be produced at the time of walk in interview at NIT Puducherry, Thiruvettakudy, Karaikal 609 609.
Terms and conditions: The nature of appointment is purely temporary for a period of one semester (even) (January 2019 May 2019).
If selected, one month notice is required on either side to quit the post during the said tenure. Institute is right to terminate the service of the selected faculty (on contract) before the end of tenure by one month notice.
Preference will be given to the candidate having Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Consolidated remuneration is fixed at the time of joining will not be changed during the period of appointment.
Selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
Canvassing in any form will render a candidate ineligible.
Institute reserves the right to select or reject a candidate without assigning any reason/s thereof.
This post does not confer any right on the applicant to claim either continuous employment or permanency in future.
Institute reserves the right to defer or cancel the advertisement at any stage of processing without assigning any reasons, if required.
Candidates are informed to adhere to the reporting time (08. 00 AM to 09.00 AM) Registration will not be entertained beyond this time.
Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview. Mere fulfillment of qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
