Project Positions in Department of Remote Sensing
Applications are invited for One (1) post of JRF for following NRSC, ISRO, Government of India sponsored projects:
A) National Land Degradation Mapping-Second Cycle: PI - Dr. A.P. Krishna
B) National Land Use Land Cover Analysis-Third Cycle: PI - Dr. C. Jeganathan
Above projects will be executed in the Department of Remote Sensing, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Initial appointment shall be made for 1 year duration and likely to be extended for another year on satisfactory performance. These positions shall be co-terminus with the respective projects.
Emoluments:
JRF: Rs. 18,000/- + 15% HRA per month
Educational Qualification:
M.Tech./ M.Sc in Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Earth Sciences with Ist class.
Desired Qualification:
Preference will be given to candidate with hands-on experience in RS GIS Tools and S/W.
