Director CNCI, Kolkata, invites applications for filling up the following tenure posts of Senior Resident and Junior Resident for the Hospital of this Institute for a duration of 44 days.

  1. Sr. Resident : 1 (one) post (Surgical Oncology)
  2. Jr. Resident : 4 (four) posts (2 each in Anaesthisiology-ITU and Surgical Oncology)

1. Senior Resident

Pay:- Consolidated salary Rs. 96400/-
Essential Qualification: (i) A recognised Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification ) to the Indian Medical Council Act. 1965. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in subsection (3) of sections (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1965. (ii) A post graduate degree/Diploma in the respective discipline from recognised university and must produce MCI registration certificate for the same at the time of joining.
Age limit 37 years.
Tenure 44 days. Can be extended on less than 45 days basis subject to satisfactory performance work and conduct report from concerned HOD.

2. Junior Resident

Pay :- Consolidated salary Rs. 81227/-
Essential Qualification: Same as at (i) above. Desirable : 1 year experience in the relevant field.
Age limit: 30 years.
Tenure 44 days. Can be extended on less than 45 days basis subject to satisfactory performance work and conduct report from concerned HOD.

Prescribed application forms may be obtained on payment of Rs.200/-(for General & OBC category of candidates) and Rs. 50 (for SC / ST category and female candidates) in cash from the Cash Section of the Hospital on all working days between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (upto 2.00 p.m. on Saturday). Only the candidate possessing the above qualifications and experience may appear in a walk-in-interview on 19.11.2018 at 12.00 noon in the conference room (1st floor of Research Building). Candidates should being copies of all relevant documents and also the original documents at the time of interview. No travelling allowance will be paid to candidates appearing in the Interview.
