NB: Applicant of Physically Handicapped Person (HI, VI & OH), Ex-Serviceman or Sports Person will be selected from the concerned category he/she belongs to out of total nos. of posts.

  1. COMMON ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

    1. For the posts of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff,an applicant must :

      1. be a citizen of India.

      2. be a pennanent resident of Mayurbhanj District

      3. not have more than one spouse living.

      4. be a good character and furnish the copy of character certificate issued from Head of the institution last studied.

        (e) not be less than 21(Twenty-One) years and not more than 32(Thirty-Two) years of age as on 01/01/017. The Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 (Five) years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Woman category and 10 (Ten) years for the candidates belonging to persons with disability and by total period of service rendered in defence service in case of Ex-Service man. However a candidate can avail only any one type of age relaxation as per rules. The persons with defence service having more than six months to retire /be discharged from service as on the last date of submission of application are not eligible to apply.

      (f) have registered their names in the Employment Exchange Office.

      1. must be able to read and write Odia. Any one of the following qualifications will be taken into consideration to ascertain this ability of the candidate.

        1. He/ she must have passed HSC Exam conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or an equivalent examination conducted by any other State Board or Central Board (like CBSE, ICSE) with Odia as a Language Subject i.e. First/Second/Third Language.

        2. He/she must have passed +2/Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha with Odia as an examinable subject.

        3. He must have passed Odia examination of HSC/Tenth standard conducted by BSE, Odisha.

        4. In case of candidates desirous for Language Teacher post like Hindi Teacher, Classical teacher (Sanskrit) passing Odia Examination ME standard conducted by BSE, Odisha may be allowed.

      * N. B. - School Subjects for TGT Arts and TGT Science:

      The Science Graduate Candidates should have passed with two school subjects (With not less than 200 marks each) as the following:

      1. Trained Science Graduate (PCM) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

      2. Trained Science Graduate (CBZ) Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology

      For the Arts Graduate Candidate, one of the subject shall be considered out of English, Odia, Hindi and Sanskrit and another subject shall be considered from the subject studied out of History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in India History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity(Each subject of the above mentioned list should have been studied at the graduation level with not less than 200 marks)

    3. The candidates who have qualified OSSTET (ODISHA SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS ' ELIGIBILITY TEST) will be given first preference during the selection for ensuring engagement of quality teachers and quality education at elementary stage as envisaged in Resolution No. 18618, SME dated 17.09.2016. After exhaustion of the list of OSSTET qualified candidates, other candidates eligible candidates will be selected. Also, non-OSSTET qualified candidates have to submit AFFIDAVIT to the effect that they will qualify OSSTET within three years.

    4. For the post of Junior Clerk-cum-DEO (Data Entry Operator), an applicant must have passed +2 Exam. or equivalent to it and possess adequate computer knowledge.

    5. For the post of Peon an applicant must

      1. have minimum qualification of Class-VII Pass [no premium shall be given for qualification higher than the minimum prescribed]

      2. be of good character.

      3. be of good sound health, good physique, active habits.

      4. be able to speak, read and write in Odia.

      5. know cycling positively.

  2. Documents to be enclosed with the APPLICATI ON FORM

    The following required documents should firmly be enclosed with the Application Form duly filled up by the applicant as directed failing which his/her application will not be considered for the purpose.

    Self - Attested Xerox copies of

    1. All Academic Qualification Certificates up to the minimum qualification required for the post applied.

    2. Mark Sheets of all Examinations up to the minimum qualification as required for the post applied.

    3. Valid Caste Certificate issued from the competent authority in case of ST/SC/SEBC applicants [For SC/SEBC applicants, Caste Certificate must be issued in the year 2016 / 2017]

    4. Valid Residential Certificate issued in the year 2016/2017 from the competent authority

    5. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate

    7. Class-VII Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet for the post of Peon

    8. Identity Card issued by the Sports & Youth Service Department in case of Sports Person

      1. Identity Card and Discharge Certificate indicating the period of service rendered in case of Ex-Service man.

    9. Person with Disability (PWD) Certificate issued by Competent Authority in case of Physically Handicapped candidates.

    1. 3(Three) nos. of recent Photographs of Passport Size Colour Picture with white background signed by the applicant in the front side,out of which one should be pasted in the appropriate space provided in the application form and other two should firmly be tagged with the application form &

    2. Original Bank Draft towards Examination Fees & Postal Charges of non-refundable amount of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only drawn in any Nationalised Bank in favour of the District Welfare Officer, Mayurbhanj payable at SBI Main Branch, Baripada should be submitted by the applicant along with the Application Form. (ST/SC/PWD candidate are exempted from the fee).

  3. Selection Procedure for the post of Teaching Staff:

    The basis for preparation of the selection list of the teaching staff shall be on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in different examinations starting from H.S.C. Examination or equivalent up to the minimum qualificat ion required for the post.

  4. Selection Procedure for the post of Junior Clerk-cum.:DEO(Data Entry Operator):

  1. Candidate shall be required to appear in the Written Tests to be held as follows:

        The standard of examination shall be equivalent to that of Secondary school.

  2. The candidates qualified in the written test (with minimum qualifying marks in each paper) shall have to appear in a Basic Computer Skill Test (Practical).

(lll)The selection list of successful candidates shall be drawn up in order of merit on the basis of their marks in the Written Examinations if they qualify in Basic Computer Skill Test (Practical).

  1. Selection Procedure for the post of Peon:

    1. The Candidate shall be required to appear in the Written Test i.e. capability to read and write English & Odia Passages, and General Knowledge.

    2. After qualifying in the written test with minimum qualifying marks in each paper in the written test, the candidates shall be required to undergo a cycling test and qualify.

    3. The basis for preparation of the selection list shall be the marks obtained by the candidates in the above test

  2. HOW TO APPLY:

  3. TERMS & CONDITIONS :

  1. The remuneration of Teaching Staff for the post of TGT-Arts & TGT-Science is Rs.9,300/ (Rupees Nine Thousand & Three Hundred) only per month.

  2. The remuneration of trained Teaching Staff and Untrained Teaching Staff for the post of Hindi Teacher is Rs.9,300/- (Rupees Nine Thousand & Three Hundred) only per month and Rs.5,200/- (Rupees Five Thousand & Two Hundred) per month respectively.

  3. The remuneration of Teaching Staff of Acharya or Shahityacharya or M.A. in Sanskrit and Bachelor Degree Exam. with Sanskrit / Shastri / Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit) for the post of Sanskrit Teacher is Rs.9,300/- (Rupees Nine Thousand & Three Hundred) only per month and Rs.5,200/- (Rupees Five Thousand & Two Hundred) per month respectively.

  4. The remuneration of Teaching Staff for the posts of Teachers of IA CT / ISc CT & PET is Rs.5,200/- (Rupees Five Thousand & Two Hundred) only per month.

  5. The remuneration of Non-Teaching Staff for the post of Junior Clerk-cum-DEO is Rs.5,200/- (Rupees Five Thousand & Two Hundred) only per month.

(f) The remuneration of Non-Teaching Staff for the post of Peon is Rs.4,750/- (Rupees Four Thousand Seven Hundred & Fifty) only per month.

  1. The remuneration as revised/instructed by Govt. from time to time will be entitled.

  2. The application either without any requisite documents or without Original Bank Draft or without signature of the applicant in the space provided or filled in incompletely by the applicant or received after the due date shall be summarily rejected without assigning any reason thereof.

  7. The case of PH candidates shall be referred to appellate Medical Board constituted by the W&CD Department vide Notification No.16430/WCD, Dt.06.09.2011 for re-examination. Engagement Order shall be issued if such candidates are found genuine by the Board.

  8. The engagement will be made as per the provisions of ORV Act and other reservation rules as prescribed by Govt. from time to time will also be followed.

  9. In case the applicants are found to have furnished false information regarding any of the qualifying criteria and other documents at any moment, his/her candidature shall be rejected and also the agreement for engagement, if made, shall automatically get cancelled from the date of such knowledge.
