Advertisement for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Ropar

Applications are invited from sincere, motivated, and eligible Indian nationals for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a research project, related to Security Enhancement Using Wearable Sensors, under the supervision of undersigned. It may be possible for selected candidate to register for PhD program in the Department as per existing institute rules.

Emoluments	As per DST rules (I & II year - Rs. 25,000/- p.m)

Essential qualifications -

Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related technical field with at least 65 % marks (or 6.5 grade point out of 10) with GATE / NET qualification OR Master's degree in CSE or related technical field with at least 65 % marks (or 6.5 grade point out of 10)

Desirables -

Good in Programming (C/Java/Matlab/Python), Previous experience in Mobile App development and data sciences, Strong Mathematics skills (Linear algebra, probability, optimization), Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, Good written and oral communications, Team spirit and zeal for learning.
