Master Control Facility (MCF) under Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) of Department of Space, is the prime station for controlling and monitoring geo- stationary satellites in various phases right from the injection stage till end of life. It has two units; one unit at Hassan in Karnataka and the other at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The operations at MCF involve state of art facilities and round the clock telemetry, tracking, commanding and ranging operations and provide an excellent opportunity for growth to the young and talented persons.

In addition the employees are eligible for Dearness Allowance as applicable from time to time, House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance.

The employees will be governed by the New Defined Contributory Pension Scheme. ISRO provides free transport (in lieu of Transport Allowance), limited housing facility (in lieu of House Rent Allowance), advances like construction of house, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, etc., and extends subsidized canteen facilities. Selection Process: The selection process consists of : (1) Written Test and

(2) Skill Test.

• The written test will be conducted first. The questions will be objective type based on curriculum.

• No TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided for the candidate attending written test.

• Short-listing will be done based on the written test scores required number of candidates (ratio between vacancy and number of candidates to be called for skill test) alone shall be called for skill test.

• Written test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.

• The skill test will be purely on go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection.

• The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale with minimum 60% for qualification.

• The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained in the written test.

• From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test.

• In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.

• The qualification prescribed above for the posts advertised is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible for selection.

Note: The written test will be conducted in Bengaluru only.

How to apply:

The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the MCF web-site www.mcf.gov.in during the period from 01.05.2017 to 22.05.2017. Candidates may visit our website to register their applications on-line between 01.05.2017 (1000 hours) and 22.05.2017 (1700 hours). Applications will be received through on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.

1. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the on-line application correctly and compulsorily. Candidate should ensure that E-mail IDs and Mobile numbers shall be kept active after submitting the application. The call letter for Written Test will be uploaded through the portal for which the candidates are requested to visit the portal at regular intervals of time after 45 days from the submission of applications. While filling-up percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (SSLC/SSC), the CGPA marks shall be converted into percentage of marks.

   The candidates who are already employed under Central/State Govt/ PSU/Autonomous Bodies etc. have to send a No Objection Certificate from the employer concerned, duly indicating their Registration Number and Post Code to the Sr. Administrative Officer, Master Control Facility, Post Box No.66, Salagame Road, Hassan-573201, within 10 days of submitting the applications through on-line by the candidates and in any case not later than 02.06.2017.

   Payment of Application Fee:

   There will be an Application Fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred fifty only) plus applicable Bank Charges (non- refundable) for each application for male candidates belonging to UNRESERVED (UR) AND OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES (OBC) community. After registration of application through online, the candidate has to down-load and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from our website which will contain the Name of the candidate,

   Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No. and Post Code. The candidates may visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account No.36137805266. The candidate may download and print the personalized payment challan from our website on any day between 01.05.2017 and 22.05.2017 and remit the application fee to State Bank of India before 22.05.2017. Upon remittance of the application fee, one copy of the challan form will be retained by State Bank of India (Bank copy) and remaining two parts will be given to the candidates. Out of the two challan parts, the candidate has to send one part of the challan form (MCF/ISRO copy) to Sr. Administrative Officer, Master Control Facility, Post Box No.66, Salagame Road, Hassan-573201 by Ordinary Post superscribing "RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF_____________(Post Name)_________________ [ (Post No.)]" on the envelope within 10 days of submitting of application and in any case not later than 02.06.2017. Please note that the applications of male candidates (UR and OBC), in respect of whom Application Fee has not been received, will not be considered for further processing under any circumstances. The remaining one copy of challan form (Applicant copy) shall be retained by the candidate for future reference.

   All Women candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Serviceman (Ex), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee. However, after registration of application through on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized registration confirmation form, from our website which contains the Name of the Candidate, Registration Number, Advertisement No., and Post Code for future reference.

   General Conditions:

   • Applications made through on-line only will be entertained. Physical applications will not be entertained.

   • The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.

   • The number of posts indicated above is provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirements.

   • The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Centers/Units of the Indian Space Research Organization/Department of Space situated anywhere in India, as and when required. For details of ISRO Centre/Units, please visit www.isro.gov.in.

   • If selected, the personnel shall be required to work on round the clock shift basis.

   • MCF reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, if it so desires.
