The prescribed application form, information sheet containing the details of qualification, experience, scale of pay and other required conditions in respect of the above post, general information and instruction to the candidates can be downloaded from the OUAT website: ouat.nic.in. The application form complete in all respect alongwith self attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets of all examination passed, experience certificate and research publications in the field, to be sent by Speed Post/ Registered Post.

Persons in service shall apply through proper channel, failing which the application shall not be considered. The application duly filled in alongwith copy of the supporting documents shall be addressed to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha and the last date of receipt of application is 28.07.2018 up to 5.00 P.M. Application received after the due date shall not be entertained. The University shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or delay in postal transaction. Incomplete application shall be summarily rejected.

Fees of the application for the post:

The candidates are required to deposit an amount of Rs.1500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred) only towards application fees in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha.

Mode of payment

The application fees shall be deposited directly through Green Channel Counter (GCC) / Internet Banking / Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) in the account number of the Comptroller, OUAT (A/C No. 10173711536, State Bank of India, OUAT Campus Branch, Bhubaneswar, Branch Code: 03341, Indian Financial System Code (IFSC Code): No.SBIN0003341. In support of document regarding deposit, the candidate should attach photocopy of the deposit receipt duly signed by the candidates for proof of the deposit. Other mode of payment for application fee shall not be considered. Application fee once deposited is non-refundable.

Candidates are advised to quote the Advertisement Number and date at the top of the application form.

The University reserves the rights to cancel the interview or the entire process of recruitment, if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances. A call to interview does not have any right to appointment.

The post of Professor BPCL Biofuel Chair is established as per the memorandum of Agreement between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.,(BPCL) and Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT) for carrying out research activities in the field of Biofuels.

Qualification

:

The person to be appointed as Professor of BPCL Biofuel Chair shall be of an outstanding and bright academic career and possesses qualifications having promising potential and meeting the norms given below.

:

The person for the Professor BPCL Biofuel chair shall be according to the norms laid down by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & University Grants Commission (UGC) including Ph.D. and First class degree at Bachelors or Masters level in Biofuels/ Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in teaching or research or industry in the areas of Biofuels /Industrial Biotechnology out of which at least 03 years in the rank of Associate Professor/equivalent with AGP Rs.9000/-. He/ She shall have earned reputation as a scholar and researcher of international repute in his / her field of research, which shall be measured by appropriate academic standards and parameters in terms of number of publications in international journals related to the above mentioned fields, number of citations, high index of publications and recognition by professional bodies and national and international academia.

The post shall be treated as open for all and no reservation.

Term of appointment

:

The Professor appointed to the said chair shall hold the position till his/her superannuation or till validity of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT),whichever is earlier.

Probation period

:

The person appointed on the said post shall be on probation for a period of two years.

The Professor, BPCL Biofuel chair shall work under the supervision of the Dean, College of Agriculture, OUAT and under the direct control of Vice-Chancellor, OUAT.

The person shall be eligible for all the facilities as are available to the other Professors and teachers of OUAT as per prescribed rules and governed by the rules and regulations of OUAT and Government.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION TO CANDIDATE

INSTRUCTIONS (Important)

1. Before filing/submitting the application form, candidates are advised to go through the qualification prescribed for the post and make sure that he/she possesses the same.

ii. Supported with self attested copies of all Certificates from H.S.C. onwards.
iii. Routed through proper channel ( in case of persons already in service).
4. The deposit receipt of the fees deposited for the post with duly signed by the candidate.
5. In-complete application shall not be considered.
6. The application must reach the Registrar, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha on or before the last date and time prescribed for receipt of applications. Application received after the last date and time shall stand rejected automatically.
