Subject: Appointment of Junior Project Fellow, walk-in-interview.

International Relations Division will hold a walk-in-interview on 29th May 2018 at 10.00 a.m. for recruitment of a Junior Project Fellow (JPF) on purely temporary basis under the Division's PAC-approved programme: 1857 Major Anti-Colonial Armed Uprisings in India (19.02).

Essential Qualifications: Masters degree in History with minimum 55% marks, for gecategory & 50% marks, for SC/ST/PH category. Preferwill be given to those having M.Phil/ Ph.D. in the relesubject from a recognized university. neral ence vant
Desirable: High order ability in English (writing & speaking) efficiency in computer operation. and
Age: Should be Below 40 Years as per UGC guidelines.
Tenure: Ten months
Remuneration: Rs. 16000/-p.m. (consolidated and fixed) for NET qualcandidates. ified
Rs. 14000/- p.m. (consolidated and fixed) for Non-NET (Likely to be revised upwards0

Venue: Room No. 3, 4th floor, Zakir Hussain Block, NCERT Campus, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New

Delhi 110016 Interested candidates who fulfill the above criteria may report in Room No. 2, 4th floor, Zakir Hussain Block-29th May 2018 at 10.00 a.m. with curriculum vitae and original certificates for verification.

Registration Time: Between 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

  1. Fellowship is purely temporary.

    1. Candidates already in job should get their applications forwarded through their employers

    2. and /or come with a No Objection Certificate.
    1. Candidates pursuing M. Phil or Ph.D. should bring No Objection Certificate from their

      supervisor/Institution.

  2. Those who have already worked in the NCERT for 2 years need not apply.

  3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in- interview by NCERT.

  4. The selected candidate may be required to join immediately.
