Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Junior Research Fellow Position as per the details given below, for ISRO RESPOND research project, under the principal investigator Dr. S. Jerome, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli 620 015, Tamil Nadu.

1. Title of the Project : Weldability Studies on Inconel 718

2. Funding Agency for the Project specimen: ISRO - Respond

3. Project Positions and Number : JRF, One

4. Qualifications : M.Tech / M.E in Welding Engineering/ Industrial Metallurgy/ Materials Science and Engineering

B.Tech / B.E in Metallurgical/Mechanical/Production

5. Emoluments : Rs. 25, 000/- per month (Consolidated)

6. Duration : One year from the date of Appointment

7. Job Description : Carrying out the Welding Experiments, Data collection, Data analysis, characterization of Weldments, Evaluation of test results and Report writing.

A. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
