Applications are invited for the post of training/studentship/traineeship (DBT, BTISNet GOI), New Delhi sponsored project entitled Establishment of Sub- Distributed Information Center, BIT-Mesra, Ranchi " at Department of Bio-Engineering, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.

Eligibility: M.Sc. / M.Tech. Degree in any appropriate stream of Bioinformatics/Chemical / Physical / Biological Sciences or Computer Sciences. Students who have finished their final examination and awaiting the award of this degree may also apply.

Desirable Qualifications: Preliminary knowledge on Biological molecules, e.g. Protein, Nucleic acids, lipids etc.

Goal of the training: providing the students with an exposure to Bioinformatics and Computational Biology that would incorporate the training on theoretical principles, hands on training regarding computational strategies and preliminary involvement in contemporary research.

Fellowship/month: Rs 10,000/-.

Tenure: Six months

No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.

The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for six months.
