Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DRDO sponsored project entitled Study of HEMT and its performance in amplifier circuit (DRDO reference No.: ERIP/ER/DG-MED & CoS/990216301/M/01/1675 dated 04 July 2017) at Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.

Job Description: Mainly research in VLSI Design regarding HEMT (high electron mobility transistor) and its application in amplifier circuit. The candidate is expected to register for PhD at BIT, Mesra.
Eligibility: M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and related disciplines OR B.E./B.Tech.inElectronics and Communication Engineering withvalid GATE score. Final semester M.E./M.Tech. students can also apply.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of device/process simulation CAD tool (Synopsis/Silvaco TCAD)
- Knowledge on analog circuit design / analog Microelectronics/VLSI design.
- Knowledge of transistor level circuit simulation tool.
- Candidate with valid GATE/NET and/or work experience on device/analog Microelectronics/VLSI domain will be preferred.
Fellowship/month: Rs25,000 +15% HRA forfirst 2years, thenRs28,000 +15% HRA for one year.
Tenure: 3 years (extendable annually till completion of the project, subjected to satisfactory performance).

- The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for three years subject to availability of the fund and will be governed by therules / conditions of the sanctioned project.
