MODEL RURAL HEALTH RESEARCH UNIT, BHANPUR KALAN, JAIPUR INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSTS.

WALK IN PERSONAL DISCUSSION

The following posts are to be filled up under the project Consumption pattern of food and food products/ items high in fat, salt and sugar among selected cities/ towns and rural population of India at Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU), Bhanpur Kalan, Distt, Jaipur, Rajasthan which is around 40 Km from Jaipur City on purely temporary basis. The Mentor Institute for the unit is Desert Medicine Research Centre (ICMR) Jodhpur while SMS Medical College Jaipur and State government are major partners.

The following posts are to be filled up on contract (purely temporary basis) for a maximum period of 11 months. 1). POST: Research Assistant: 03 posts (2-UR, 1-OBC).

(a) Research Assistant (Life Sciences):01 Post

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years. Salary: Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated). Essential Qualifications: : Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years work experience (Research) from a recognized institution or Masters degree in Zoology/BioChemistry/Biotechnology from the recognized University.

(b) Research Assistant (Home Sciences): 02 Posts

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years. Salary: Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated). Essential Qualifications: : Graduate in Home Science or Food and Nutrition from a recognized university with three years work experience (Research) from a recognized institution or Masters degree in Home Science or Food and Nutrition from a recognized University.

2). POST: Field Worker/Tech-III: 3 Posts (2-UR, 1-OBC) Salary: fixed emoluments @ Rs. 18000/-P.M. Age: Below 30 years Essential Qualifications : 12^th pass in Science subjects and 2 years diploma (DMLT) or two years field/laboratory experience* in Govt. recognized organization. *B.Sc. (Life Science) degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

3. POST: Multi Tasking Staff : (Two Posts-UR) Salary: fixed emoluments @ Rs. 15800/-P.M. Age: Below 25 years Essential Qualifications: High school or Equivalent.

Responsibility:

The selected candidates have to do the assigned work of the MRHR Unit or DMRC. The candidates will be posted in any place of Rajasthan as and when required for field survey or any other work. Field work could be 25 days in a month. He or she may be given the duties of laboratory and field work as per requirement of the Centre.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for OBC candidates will be given against reserve posts only and as per Govt. Rules in force. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons (experience certificated required for screening).

If the number of eligible candidates are more than 30 a Walk in Personal Discussion and Written Test will be conducted.
