(For Recruitment in Grade-III of Tripura Judicial Service)

Dated, Agartala, the 3rd August, 2016 ..

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes categories who have not attained the age more than 38 years as on the last date fixed for the receipt of applications for filling up of 06 (six) actual & anticipated vacant posts in Grade-III of Tripura Judicial Service in accordar1ce with the provisions of the Tripura Judicial Service Rules, 2003 (as amended up to date) in the scale of pay of Rs. 27700-770-33090-920-40450-1080- 44770/- per 1nonth plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules in force.

Out of 06 posts, 02 posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 04 posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes.

If no suitable candidate is found from the reserved categories as aforesaid, the posts will be filed up by the candidates other than those of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as per Rules.

Therefore, willing eligible candidates of Un-reserved category who have not

  • attained the age of more than 35 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications may also apply for these posts.

    ST/SC candidates of other States (not recognized by the Government of Tripura) should apply as general candidate along with recruitment fees prescribed for general candidate.

    Applications in Prescribed Format available in the official Website of the High Court of Tripura (b_ttp://thc.nic.in,) along with self attested copies of all certificates/documents, six copies of recent passport size photographs and Banl<. Draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of Scheduled Tribes and Sched.uled Castes candidates) payable at Agartala in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Tripura, Agartala should reach the undersigned on or before 09.09.2016.

    Belated and incomplete applications will be rejected summarily. Numbers of posts advertised is subject to increase or decrease.

    A candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the

    Constitution of India and must be a holder of Degree in Law of a recognized University established by Law in India.

    The candidates shall have to appear in a Preliminary Written Examination (Sc1eening test) of objective questions of 100 marks which will cover General Knowledge, aptitude, English, Constitution of India, Code of Civil Prqcedure, Code of Criminal Procedure, Transfer of Property Act, Indian Contract Act, Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act, Lawof Torts & local laws of Tripura and Ge11eral category candidates who obtain 60% or more marks and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who obtain 50% or more 1narks in the Preliminary Examination shall be eligible for appearing in the Final Written Examination. For the Final Written Examination as per as practicablelO

    candidates will be called against 1 vacancy (1:10). Successful candidates in the Final Written Examination shall be called for InterviewNiva Voce.

    Candidates shall have to appear in the Preliminary Written Examination, Final Written Examination and Viva Voce at their own expenses as and when called for. Mere selection would not per se entitle a candidate to claim

    General category candidates who obtain 60% or more marks or, corresponding grade and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled

    Tribes who obtain 50% or more marks or corresponding grade in the Final Written Examination shall be eligible for Viva voce. Due weightage shall be given to the candidates having knowledge in Bengali during their Viva Voce.
