School of Human Ecology, TISS Calls for Applications for Posts of Research Coordinator, Research Assistant, and Field Investigators for a Project to Assess Quality of Early Childhood Education Settings and Child Development in the State of Maharashtra.

Post 1. One Research Coordinator with a Masters in Home Science (preferably with specialization in Human Development, Developmental Counselling, Early Childhood Education),MA in Psychology (preferably Clinical or Counselling Psychology) with 2 years experience in having worked as a research assistant or coordinator. The tasks will involve coordinating the work of preparing for data collection, translation of tools, coordinating data collection, travelling with the team and organizing the data analyses. Knowledge of Marathi is preferred. This appointment will be from 1^st March 2018 for a period of 5 months.

Post 2: One Research Assistant with a Masters in Home Science (preferably with specialization in Human Development, Developmental Counselling, Early Childhood Education) should be willing to travel through Mumbai, Akola and Osmanabad districts in Maharashtra, to assist and ensure quality data collection and assist in the analyses of data. This appointment will be from 1^st March 2018 for a period of 4 months.

Post 3: Thirteen Field Investigators for a period of one month (if candidates are not available, fewer appointments may be done for a longer period, but not exceeding 1 months). The appointment will be during the months of March and April 2018. Qualifications required are a Bachelors Degree in Home Science; those who are appearing for their final degreeexamination this year and those who have completed 2 years or 4 Semesters (of a 3 year degree programme or 6 Semesters of a degree programme) can also apply. Knowledge of English and Marathi are compulsory.

Salary will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate. Allowances for travel and boarding and lodging will be as per TISS rules.
