ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) ON CONTRACT BASIS

Applications are invited from retired engineers for the engagement as Junior Engineer (Civil) on contract basis for scrutiny of estimates and monitoring execution of various projects including repair and maintenance works. Applications may be addressed to The Regional Director by post on or before 22.06.2018. The terms and conditions of engagement on contract are as follows:

1. Post : Junior Engineer (Civil )

2. Qualification :Degree / Diploma in Civil engineering from recognized

University /Institution.

Only Retired officers who served as J.E or above at the

time of retirement from Central / State PWD

Department/Central or State Public Sector undertaking

are eligible to apply.

3. Maximum age : 64 years as on 22.06 .2018

4. Number of Posts : 1 (Civil )

5. Duration of the Engagement : The contractual appointment will be for 1 year initially,

extendable annually upto 65 years based on the

performance , subject to signing an agreement with ESI

Corporation.

6. Remuneration & other conditions: A consolidated amount equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension drawn by them. In addition, they are entitled to TA/DA for tours undertaken for official work. No other perks / benefits such as HRA. CCA, Transport Allowance, Medical reimbursement is payable.

7. Leave Eligibility One day leave for every completed month of service, in addition to Government Holidays.
