Designation	Software Developer (2 Positions)
Location	Deonar, Mumbai
Purpose of the Role	To Develop,Maintain and support TISS-School of Vocational Education ERP.

Role & Responsibilities	1. In collaboration with other developers, determine effective programming architectures, development strategies, and infrastructure choices to achieve business goals and satisfy stakeholder requirements. 2. Plan, code, unit test, and deploy major projects, features, and applications. 3. Troubleshoot major applications, determine appropriate solutions and bug fixes. 4. Build complex applications using best-practice development methodologies, design patterns, simple functions and solid OOP foundation. 5. Produce maintainable, documented, and highly-readable code.
Qualifications	Essential: Any Graduate with relevant certification and work experience in related field
Prior Experience	Minimum 3 years in related field
Competencies	Positive, Focused and Self-motivated Ability to multi-tasking Eye for detail To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate Ability to manage time & schedules effectively and work within deadlines Ability to adapt to a new and constantly evolving work environment Ability to work along with teams Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a problem solver.

Technical skills	1. Expertise in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, JSON 2. Expertise in Web Application development and / or software development 3. Understanding and Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming 4. Good understanding of CSS and frameworks 5. Experience of Ajax. 6. Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification 7. Knowledge of the Linux command line 8. Experience of IDE for PHP such as Netbeans /Eclipse. 9. Experience of Software Support is added advantage. 10. Experience in common third-party APIs 11. Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) 12. Experience on native android development 13. Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. 14. Experience in education industry 15. Experience with clustered LAMP stack 16. Experience of ASP.NET development would be an added advantage. 17. Worked on Amazon Web Services.
