Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of three years (initially for one year) under the CSIR sponsored project entitled Analytical and computational studies of some queueing models with Markovian arrival process and/or Markovian service process with sanction order no. 25(0271)/17/EMR-II dated 27/04/2017. Eligible candidates can attend the Walk in Interview on 19/07/2017 at 10:30 AM in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Raipur, along with the duly completed application form on the prescribed format with copies of supporting documents and necessary original certificates. Number of Position Project Duration	:	1 (One) 3 Years
Essential Qualification	:	M.Sc. in Mathematic/Applied Mathematics with minimum of 60 % marks from recognized University/ Institute or equivalent degree and a valid NET/GATE score.
Tenure of Fellowship Maximum Age Limit	:	Appointment of research position will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till end of the project. 28 years
Fellowship Date & Time of Interview	:	Rs. 12,000/-per month plus HRA/MA 19/07/2017 at 10:30 AM

Terms and Conditions:

1. The above position is purely temporary and continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review after each year.

2. Candidates are required to appear for the interview with curriculum vitae, all relevant original certificates with a set of attested photocopies and four attested passport size photographs.

3. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing the interview.

4. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other institutes during this period.

5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.

6. The appointment shall be co-terminus with the project.
