Essential:

1. First Class Masters Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech);

2. A Ph.D. Degree in Applied Biological Sciences such as, Micro-Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy and Bio-Physics;

3. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade and at the Masters Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.

4. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.

5. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities

1. Good Academic Record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar

test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Management Studies

Assistant Professor Rs. 15,600- 39100+AGP Rs. 6000/-

Essential:

1. First Class Masters Degree in Business Management / Administration in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC;

2. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

3. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:
