Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate for a period of 1 year to start with, in the STC/PHY/2018037 sponsored project entitled Parallel Electro-magnetic Solver for Microwave, Infrared, and Optical applications (MIO-PEMS). The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
The interested candidates are requested to submit their application with curriculum vitae containing information regarding their degrees in an envelop superscribed with (Application for the post of Project Associate). An applicant who does not meet the minimum qualification and without advanced programming skills will not be called for the interview/telephonic interview. Only hard copies of applications will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The period of appointment may be extended based on requirement.

The candidate should have B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Mech. engg or M.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics and having strong background in C, C++, Python and Parallel programming. The candidate should have good knowledge of electrodynamics specially Maxwells equation and Finite difference scheme. Knowledge of visualization software like Visit, Paraview, Tecplot etc. is recommended.
