Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications from Indian nationals for the following posts for its Institute Management System (IMS).

Tenure: Two years; this position is contractual in nature and may be extended, subject to candidates performance and Institute requirements. However, the yearly performance review shall be conducted by the subjected position.

	Remoting, Strong understanding of Object Orientation Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Javascript, JQuery, JQuery Widgets, JSON Knowledge and experience of GIT/SVN Good knowledge and hands-on experience in MS-SQL 2008/2012 Knowledge on Microsoft Reports, Crystal Reports, Devexpress controls, Fusion Charts etc., will be added advantage. Preference will be given for candidates with exposure to an industry standard ERP and workflow package. Have worked with product and development teams to understand product vision and requirements Experience working in an agile environment. Ability to work on several projects concurrently. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills Job Description: Work in coordination with the software vendor implementing IMS Serves as SME for software development process. Design, develop, test, support and deploy desktop and custom web. Gather end user software requirements and develop related software applications and programs. Research and evaluate software related technologies and products. Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities. Develop and write high quality coding that meets end user requirements. Create software documentation and update existing documentation. Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment. Assist and support other team members on multiple projects. Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies. Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the lifecycle of software products. Selection Process:

Eligible candidates shortlisted based on submitted online application will have to appear for selection process conducted at IITGN premises.

The decision of the selection committee formed by IITGN is final and binding to all. No queries related to the same shall be entertained.

Fulfillment of Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility does not entail a call for interview. Only shortlisted applicants shall be called for written test and/or interview.
