Advertisement for manpower required under the project : SMDP-C2SD

Advertisement No : MANIT/ECE/C2SD-SMDP/2018/2 dated 28.02.2018

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for the following posts under SMDP-C2SD project (Under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology). The positions are purely on contract basis and for project duration and based on the availability of funds under the provisions of the project.

Essential and Desirable Qualifications

1. For Guest Faculty

Essential Requirement:

(i) BTech/BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering stream, I Division (minimum 65 % or 6.5 CGPA).

(ii) Mtech/MS/ME in VLSI design/ Embedded system or in Electronics stream with specialization in VLSI design/Embedded systems, I Division (minimum 65 % or 6.5 CGPA).

(iii) Knowledge of VLSI design tools and Linux.

Desirable:

(i) PhD(awarded /submitted) in area relevant to VLSI/Embedded System stream.

(ii) Teaching/Industry/Research experience.

2. For Lab Engineer:

Essential Requirement:

(i) BTech/BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering stream / Computer Science Engineerig, I Division (minimum 65 % or 6.5 CGPA).

(ii) Mtech/MS/ME in VLSI design/ Embedded system or in Electronics stream with specialization in VLSI design/Embedded systems, I Division (minimum 65 % or 6.5 CGPA).

(iii) Knowledge of VLSI design tools and Linux.

Desirable:

(i) Teaching/Industry/Research experience.

3. After the last date of application, applications will be scrutinized for eligibility criteria as per the mentioned qualifications. In case of too many applications for a post shortlisting may be done for the next stage of interview at the institute.

Interviews will be held at the institute within time-frame of 10-20 days after the display of list of eligible candidates for interview. Responsibility of checking the institute web-site will lie with the applicant.

5. No TA/DA will be reimbursable to the candidate shortlisted and called for the interview.
