IIT Jammu invites applications from highly motivated candidates for admission to fulltime Ph.D. program commencing from 2018 in the following areas:

Chemistry, Civil Engg., Computer Science & Engg., Electrical Engg.,Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Interdisciplinary research areas.

This is a year-round Ph.D. admission program offered by IIT Jammu. Only the applications received through IIT Jammu online portal shall be given consideration. Shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. Selected candidates shall be enrolled in the coming semester course-work.

above topics. Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics or B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc.(Engg.) in

Engineering disciplines with a minimum first division or equivalent CGPA. Admission to the Ph.D. program in Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics requires NET/GATE qualification.

For Engineering discipline, GATE qualification is desirable for M.Tech. degree holders, and essential for B.Tech. degree holders with exceptional academic credentials.

*Minimum eligibility criteria do not guarantee shortlisting for the test/interview for Ph.D. admissions.

*Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and the list of the shortlisted candidates will be put up on the Institute website.

Application Fee Structure:
