In pursuance of the communication received from the Director of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19 VIDE NO.PC/HE/Plan/13/2016/57 dated 25/04/2017 . the Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara district in the capacity of Chairman of Governing Body of Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya at Amjonga invites applications from Indian Nationals having proficiency in local language for the post of Assistant Professors as detailed below. Eligible candidates may submit applications to the address aiven within stioulated date.

Candidates serving elsewhere must apply with an NOC from the

employer. If no NOC from present employer's submitted, their\ the application is liable to be rejected. NOC can be produce on the date of interview.

The eligibility of age educational qualification except Ph.D and M.Phil

will be reckoned with reference to the last date of application, i.e. the candidate must acquire educational qualification on the last date of application. Ph.D I M.Phil I Papers I Publications I NOC I Teaching Exoerience Certificates can be submitted on the date of interview.

Educational Qualification.

i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale where ever grading system is followed). At the Maste(s Degree Level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibilty Test

(NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET I SET.

  1. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this clause 4.4.1, candidates who are , or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations,2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET I SLET I SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant professor or equivalent positions in University I Colleges / Institutions.

  2. A relaxation of 5% may be provided a Graduate or Maste(s Level for the Scheduled Caste I Scheduled

    Tribe /Differently abled categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to the teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedure.

  3. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders, who have
